Olivia Riddle Appointed Student Representative to Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners & Nurse Midwives Board

Grayson, KY – April 5, 2025 – Kentucky Christian University (KCU) is proud to announce that Olivia Riddle, BSN (Class of 2019), RN, has been appointed as the Student Representative to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives (KANPNM). Riddle was selected on March 25, 2025, through a competitive statewide application process and will serve a one-year term in this prestigious leadership role.

With a strong clinical and academic background, Riddle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2019 and has since gained frontline nursing experience in both medical-surgical and labor & delivery units. She currently serves as the MSN Clinical Coordinator for KCU’s Yancey School of Nursing in Grayson, KY, and is pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) focus. Her ongoing graduate studies and hands-on experience underscore her dedication to advancing her education and expertise in the nursing field.

As Student Representative on the KANPNM Board of Directors, Riddle will have an active voice in guiding the organization’s initiatives alongside experienced nurse practitioners and nurse midwives. In this role, she will:

  • Serve as a voting board member in all KANPNM Board of Directors meetings, contributing to decision-making processes.

  • Participate in board committees, working on projects and initiatives that support the association’s mission.

  • Act as a liaison between KANPNM and nursing students across Kentucky, communicating student perspectives and encouraging student involvement in professional advocacy.
